Customer Build Videos — They encouraged their community to share time-lapse videos of their builds. These authentic clips — from unboxing to completed project — became the centerpiece of product pages. Each product featured 3-5 customer build videos alongside official content.
Stories for New Releases — Product launches got full-screen Stories that walked buyers through set contents, difficulty level, estimated build time, and the finished product from multiple angles.
Comparison Feed — On collection pages, a Feed widget showed side-by-side video comparisons of different sets at similar price points. This helped customers choose the right product for their skill level.
They launched with 20+ community videos. Most of the content already existed — they just needed a way to surface it on the store.
